BIGlabs team 

  • Founder / Director

    With a rich background spanning almost 20 years in community social work, including leadership roles in both governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as extensive editorial experience as an editor-in-chief and guest editor, he brings a wealth of expertise and a unique perspective to his new venture.

    Now embarking on an entrepreneurial path as the director of the creative collective BIGlabs, he combines professional expertise with creativity to deliver comprehensive design solutions. His experience also includes organizing a wide range of events, showcasing his versatility and attention to detail in every project.

BIGlabs Team - Michel Saad

  • Founder / Creative Director

    Driven by a passion to make a lasting impact on the creative landscape, Michel founded BIGlabs to bring bold, innovative ideas to Ljubljana and the world. After five years of calling Ljubljana home, he recognized an opportunity to fill a unique gap in the market, offering something fresh and transformative.

    With an architectural and design foundation honed through studies in Notre Dame University, University of Ljubljana, and a project at Stanford University, Michel brings a rare blend of precision and creativity.

    His 10 years of design expertise and four years in media creation have prepared him to lead BIGlabs with a clear vision: to inspire, to elevate, to collaborate, and to shape the future of design.

  • Graphic Designer | UX/UI Designer

    With over 8 years of experience in graphic design, branding, and communication, Miriam Chehade is a UX/UI designer with a passion for creating meaningful, user-centered solutions that drive innovation and positive change.

    Based in Germany, she holds a Master of Arts in Integrated Design (MAID) from Anhalt University of Technology, where her thesis, “Amplifying the Innovation Culture with Entrepreneurial Thinking", developed in collaboration with Eaton’s Innovation and Technology department, exemplifies her commitment to fostering creativity and strategic thinking.

    Miriam seamlessly blends creativity and strategy to deliver impactful results, pushing boundaries and exploring forward-thinking ideas that leave a lasting impression.

  • Copywriter / Proofreader

    With a deep passion for language, literature, and the arts, Neža brings her expertise as a Slovenian language teacher and comparative literature graduate to BIGlabs. Her love for books, theater, and all things creative complements her professional dedication to teaching Slovenian to foreigners—a field she has been committed to for several years.

    With professional expertise in grammar and orthography, she is responsible at BIGlabs for ensuring that texts are clear, consistent, and accurate. Often thoughtful and analytical, she also assists the team in brainstorming linguistic ideas, critically assessing what best fits the context and resonates most with the audience.

    She finds great challenge and joy in crafting texts, which nurtures her creativity and fulfills her passion for writing.

BIGlabs team - Pia Tomažič

  • Designer / Organizer

    Pia brings a unique perspective to the intersection of architecture and storytelling, grounded in five years of architectural studies and experience as a graduate teaching assistant. With a strong foundation in architecture and hands-on experience in independent interior design projects, Pia blends technical expertise with a narrative-driven approach.

    Currently, she contributes as a freelance writer for a leading architecture and design magazine, while also working across interior design, architectural projects, and creative research.

    Pia’s work is grounded in a commitment to create meaningful, impactful designs that bridge technical precision with narrative depth, reimagining possibilities and sparking inspiration at every step.
